NetGear, 170,000 yen Wi-Fi 6e mesh router system

NetGear has announced a mesh-router system for Wi-Fi 6E on the 12th (local time).The price of the model with a router and two satellite is 1,499.$ 99 (about 170,000 yen), additional satellite is $ 599.In Japan, the use of Wi-Fi 6E is still limited, so the release has been postponed.

Wi-Fi 6E has a new 6GHz band, and the RBK960 has been added as the fourth band.Existing 2.Ultra-high-speed transmission is realized without Wi-Fi interference in 4GHz and 5GHz band.

Although it is based on existing RBK853, the coverage has been improved by supporting Wi-Fi 6E and a new antenna design, and the speed is up to 30%.The WAN side is also 10GIGABIT Ethernet.It supports 16 Wi-Fi streams in all bands.
